Abstrakt

We report our results on Bi-2201 thin films exposed to long-term white light illumination and infrared radiation. The experiments were carried out at several temperatures between 270 K and 310 K. White light illumination with a quartz tungsten halogen lamp caused a slight increase of the resistivity (about 0.5 % after 24 h) at all studied temperatures, similar to previous results in Bi-2212. In contrast to the latter, the photoinduced changes in our samples clearly showed a long term relaxation after the termination of the photoexcitation, with relaxation times in the order of 1400 h. On the other hand, the illumination of the samples with infrared radiation caused no change of the sample resistivity.
